Europe Trip Day #3 - Madurodam & Zaanse Schans

Previous post; Europe Trip Day #2 - Amsterdam City Tour

18th June 2014

Semalam tu ada beli Holland Pass. Holland Pass ni all-in-one city pass which covers Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and other major cities. So boleh lah dapat free entrance or discount (depends on pass) untuk masuk tempat-tempat yg jadi tourist attractions like kebun tulips kat Keukenhof tu hahah suka-suka je kebun and museums like Rijk Museum or Van Gogh Museum. Bila tengok kat website www.hollandpass.com tu nampaknya harga tiket dah naik ye amboii! Aku beli masa tu Holland Pass 2 (Small- Adult) dengan harga €35.00 je dapat..

1 x Gold ticket
1 x Silver ticket
1 x City sightseeing
Discount ticket
Train ticket Schipol Airport - Amsterdam
(kalau tak nak ni boleh dapat discount €2.50)

Boleh refer website tu taw nak tengok tempat-tempat & info on tickets/ pass. So, hari yg ni nak pergi jauh sikit dari Amsterdam. Off the city gitew untuk Madurodam ni, aku guna Gold Ticket for free entrance. Apa benda Madurodam ni?

"Madurodam (Dutch pronunciation: [maːdyroːdɑm] is a miniature park and tourist attraction in the Scheveningen district of The Hague in the Netherlands. It is home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities and large developments. The park was opened in 1952 and has been visited by tens of millions of visitors since" -- Wikipedia

Ok since tempat ni jauh sikit so pagi-pagi tu pergi Amsterdam Centraal beli tiket intercity train €22.50 (return). Yg bestnya Europe ni free wifi bersepah termasuk lah dalam intercity train ni hihi sukaaa! Perjalanan dalam 45-50 minit camtu tp lepas tu kena naik tram #9 - €6.00 (return). Turun je tram boleh nampak entrance dah so jalan sikit je sampai.

Senang je. Kalau confused boleh tanya jangan malu bertanya nanti sesat jalan. Tram/ train driver ke conductor ke semua helpful. Ok masuk dalam tu tunjuk Holland Pass nanti dia bagi entrance ticket. Since pergi pun during weekdays maka tak ramai orang. Weekend sure ramai budak-budak kan.

The Netherlands. Harus lah 'Oranje'
Luas jugak park ni
Pakcik ni Indonesian. Kemain gembira dia jumpa Malaysian sampai duk himpit-himpit kan aduiii

Rasa kurus plak kat Amsterdam ni tak makan sangat tapi dah tengahari gitu takkan tak nak makan kan hmm beli la french fries je without sauce sementara nak tunggu train balik tu gerak. Tu pun €2.15 ok (pasrah).
French Fries RM10++
Sesampai je kt Amsterdam Centraal ni cari bas nak pergi Zaanse Schans pulak. Nak tengok windmills hehehe. Cari bas #391 kat luar station ni harga €5.00 (return) then boleh tidur dalam bas since perjalanan 50 minit. Nanti nak balik driver suruh tunggu kat mana yg dia turunkan masa sampai. Senang je. Boleh naik train jugak tapi lg mahal rasanya. Zaanse Schans ni macam satu perkampungan kecil je yg ada windmills, muzium-muzium mini, rumah-rumah kecil buat terompah kayu (wooden clogs), jam antik, cheese etc. Nak masuk sini free je tp kalau masuk muzium mini kena bayar. Meh tengok betapa cantiknya Zaanse Schans ni.

Ok tu je pi mai pi mai windmills je hahahah dah bye-bye windmills & cheese nak pulang ke pangkuan keluarga ni. Nak ke Brussels petang ni. Oh lupa pulak pasal backpack hehe orang Hotel Abba tu baik bagi tumpang luggage room dia so tak yah sewa locker jimat sikit kan. So, beli tiket tram yg valid sejam semata nak ambil backpack. Tram sejam €2.80. Amsterdam Centraal - Hotel Abba - Amsterdam Centraal . Pergi Brussels naik train yg dah beli tiket masa 1st day sampai tu. Memang tidur sepanjang dalam train cuaca sejuk hujan renyai sikit layaaannn. Almost 3 jam nak sampai. Since sini tengah summer so gelap tu lambat sikit dalam 9.00pm gitu.

Along & BIL tunggu kat Brussels (Bruxelles) Midi station. Huwaaa gembira tak terkata bila jumpa familiar faces especially family sendiri kan menangis dalam hati wuwuwu. Malam tu makan nasi OMGGG nasiiii rinduuuuu! Hahah dengan adanya sambal bilis power bekalan dari mak, memang tak pandang kiri kanan dah lepas makan terus tidur. Good night uols!

  1. Easter weekend and an urge to travel made us pack our bags and set off to Amsterdam! Unlike most of our previous trips, we DINT plan much. We vaguely had an idea though, of what we wanted to see in the city. No doubt that the city has some of the best and unique museums, but our agenda this time was to spend less time in the museums and to explore more and to do something different. To know more visit here. Thanks!
